Memorial services will be held Saturday, Feb. 10, at St Joseph Catholic Church in Jefferson for Maxine Rothfolk, 92, of Jefferson. Interment will be at Richland Township Cemetery in Guthrie County.
The family is assisted by Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home of Jefferson.
Mary Maxine Rothfolk, life-long Greene County resident, died January 30, 2018, at her home in Jefferson. Maxine was born September 16, 1925, to Elnina Martin Rothfolk and Edward Rothfolk. She graduated from Cooper High School in 1942.
Maxine worked for 42 years at Home State Bank in Jefferson. She retired as assistant vice-president and executive secretary on Aug. 31, 1984. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jefferson.
Maxine will be remembered for her welcoming smile and her quick wit. She is survived by nephews E. Thomas (Sharon) Rothfolk of Mesa, AZ, and B. William (Jean) Rothfolk of Dayton, TN; niece-in-law, Mardella Sorensen of Walker; many great nieces and great nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Elnina and Edward Rothfolk; brothers Paul Rothfolk and Bernard Rothfolk and his wife, Nellie; nephew Bob Sorensen; and special friend,Morris Sherbring.
Maxine’s family wishes to thank those attending the funeral service for their expressions of sympathy.
